Megan May joined Tallahassee Neurological Clinic in January 2018. She attended the University of Georgia for 2 years before graduating from Augusta University (formally Medical College of Georgia) in May 2012. She then worked as a Registered Nurse for 4 years on a neurology/neurosurgery unit. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with her Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis of Family Nurse Practitioner in August 2016. She worked for a Rheumatologist in Valdosta, Georgia for 1.5 years before relocating to Tallahassee due to her husband’s job.
Working on a neurology unit as a Registered Nurse is where she learned of her love for neurology. She enjoys the complexity of the neurology and learning something new every day. Megan has the desire to provide the highest quality of care to her patients, and is thankful to have amazing physicians and staff who help and support her. Her greatest goal is to love her patients and their family members well, and helping her patients achieve the highest quality of life possible in the midst of their neurological condition.
Megan grew up in Watkinsville, Georgia, which is right outside of Athens, Georgia. She is a Georgia Bulldog fan, and met her husband while attending UGA. She loves spending time with her family and friends, exercising, hiking/spending time outside, going to the beach, & traveling.
