Elizabeth Protasi, PA-C

Elizabeth Protasi joined Tallahassee Neurological Clinic in 2021. She graduated from Florida State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics. She then continued her education by earning a degree as a Certified Surgical Technologist in 2014 and worked in the main operating room at TMH for five years before attending PA school. Elizabeth graduated from South University in Savannah, Georgia with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant in 2021. She is licensed by the State of Florida as a Physician Assistant and nationally certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants.

Elizabeth works with Dr. Beaty and plays a vital role in providing timely and high-quality neurosurgical care for their patients. Her responsibilities include assisting with patient evaluations, hospital rounds and consultations, first-assist in surgery, post-operative care and follow-up visits, and teaching and counseling patients and their families throughout their time in the clinic’s care.

Elizabeth is a Tallahassee native and a proud graduate of Leon High School. She is married and has a golden retriever named Scout. She enjoys backpacking and has hiked over 1,600 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail. She also enjoys Florida State football, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
