Mary K. Phillips joined Tallahassee Neurological Clinic, Division of Pain Management in 2014. She graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology with a minor in Chemistry from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee in 1998. Following graduation from East Tennessee State, Mary went on to complete the Physician Assistant program at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia where she again graduated with honors.
After becoming a Certified Physician Assistant in 2002. Ms. Phillips began working with physicians to evaluate and manage patients with chronic and acute pain conditions before relocating to Tallahassee, Florida.
At the Division of Pain Management, Mary works with the physicians to ensure timely and high-quality care for patients suffering from chronic pain. Her responsibilities include patient evaluations, ordering of diagnostic and therapeutic therapies, facilitating referrals to other professional services as needed, performing in-office procedures, patient follow-up care, and education to the patient and their families.
Ms. Phillips is certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the NCCPA, the Florida Association of Physician Assistants, and the Virginia Association of Physician Assistants.
In her time away from the Division of Pain Management, she enjoys spending time with her family.
