Toriquic’ Dunkley joined Tallahassee Neurological Clinic in 2018. Toriquic’ received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2015. He began his nursing career at Tampa General Hospital on the Coronary Care Intensive Care Unit. While working as an Intensive Care nurse, he was inspired to further his education and enrolled in graduate school at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. He graduated in May 2018 with his Masters of Science in Nursing as an Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. He is licensed by both the State of Florida and Texas as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
Toriquic’ serves as the Adjunct Clinical Instructor for the Florida A&M University School of Nursing. In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, Toriquic’ assisted as a disaster relief nurse in Houston, Texas. Toriquic’ has mentored his peers by speaking on various panels to assist in the transition from a nursing student to a Registered Nurse in a medical practice.
Toriquic’ works with all of our neurosurgeons and plays a vital role in providing comprehensive stroke services to the patients in the surrounding areas. His responsibilities include hospital rounds and consultations, evaluation and formulation of treatment plans of all stroke patients, and teaching and counseling patients and their families throughout their time in the clinic’s care.
Toriquic’ is originally from Tampa, Florida. There, he attended Tampa Bay Technical High School and was a member of the marching band and chorus. He enjoys musicals, theater and dance. He loves to travel the world because he believes those experiences are priceless.
