Laura Miller joined Tallahassee Neurological Clinic in 2022. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Counseling from Florida State University in 2010. She worked as a social worker before returning to Tallahassee Community College graduating as a registered nurse in 2016. While working in Kettering, Ohio in a Step-Down Trauma Unit, Laura received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of West Florida. While working as a bedside nurse, she received several Daisy Award nominations and won the Daisy Award in 2018.
Upon moving back to Tallahassee, Laura discovered her passion for critical care and pursued a position in the Vogter Neurological Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital (TMH). She graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2022 with a Master’s Degree as Family Nurse Practitioner. She is licensed by the State of Florida as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
Being raised in a military family, Laura grew up getting to call several places home. She went to High School in Enterprise, AL and moved to Tallahassee in 2006. She enjoys traveling with her husband, gardening, and walking her dog, Betty.
