Dr. Angela S. Spencer

Angela S. Spencer, M.D., the Clinic’s most recent addition, joined the practice January 2010 as our In-Patient Neurological Consultant, as well as the TMH Medical Staff Stroke Director, working closely with the Memory Disorder Clinic. In addition, Dr. Spencer will serve as the HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital Stroke Program Director.

Dr. Spencer grew up in Hungary, but has lived most of her adult life in the United States, residing in Florida since 2001. Dr. Spencer completed her residency and fellowship training in Cerebrovascular Diseases at the Cleveland Clinic Florida in 2006, where she was also awarded Resident of the Year in 2005–06. Dr. Spencer was in the medical field for 18 years before graduating medical school in 2001. In addition to stroke care, Dr. Spencer specializes in many areas of Neurology, including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, Headaches, and various neuropathies.
