Danny Estupinan, M.D.

Dr. Estupinan is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He received his medical degree from the University of Florida – College of Medicine (2011), neurology residency training at the University of Florida (2015), and completed his fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville with subspecialties in palliative medicine (2016) and clinical neurophysiology (EMG/Neuromuscular focus) in 2017.

Throughout his career, he has participated in many studies and academics such as ‘Reducing complications of anticoagulation use through quality improvement methods within an EMG lab setting’at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville (2016-2017). He has also contributed to various publications and articles (ex. The Demise of Poskanzer and Schwab’s Influenza Theory on the Pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease – Estupinan D, Nathoo S, Okun MS; Parkinson’s Dis. 2013) and recent co-author in Neuro-Palliative care textbook chapter on Neuromuscular disorders.

Dr. Estupinan joined the Tallahassee Neurological Clinic – Department of Neurology in September 2018, from Cleveland Clinic of Florida where he served as Chairman of the End of Life Committee. He is also an active member of the Health Information Management and Systems Society (HIMSS), and is CEO/President of the Tremendo Healthcare Consulting Group. Dr. Estupinan is a Florida native with a Cuban background and is fluent in Spanish and English. In his free time, Dr. Estupinan enjoys freshwater/saltwater fishing, traveling, fine dining, exercise (former certified personal trainer), dancing (former salsa dance instructor), music (classically trained in piano) and serial entrepreneurship.
